2S4Y Laura's Sketch # 20

I am soooooo tired of winter! It is -13 degrees Celcius here today, and that is cold!! Now I know that this is actually a typical Canadian Winter, and and that we have been rather lucky for several years now, and I know that I shouldn't be complaining...but it really is beginning to feel like the winter that wouldn't end. So...enough complaining, I'll get to my cards. This one is my take on Laura's sketch this week. I played with many different flowers, but decided to "go big". The spring colors cheered me up, which I really need right now.
Materials: Bazill Cardstock
Sandylion pp
Michaels ribbon
Michaels foam stamp
Dollar store rhinestone insects, button and twine.
Another view to show some dimension.
This card I did for the blog site "Card Patterns", which is also filled with great sketches. I didn't get it done on time, so I won't enter it, but it is I thought I'd post it anyway.
Materials: Bazill Kraft Paper
K & Co pp
K & Co flowere embellishment
Michael's ribbon
MM rubon sentiment

That's it for today...going to make the boys a substantial lunch (hamburgers and protein shakes) before their big hockey game this afternoon, then I am back to bed...working again tonight. Thanks for checking out my site. Shirley.

Love the colors in your 2Sketches..great take on the sketch. I also love your Card Patterns card. I made one using these same papers, but didn't end up liking it, so I didn't post it:)
