I'm not very good at making time for me...like most women, I'm too busy being busy with other things...being a mom, a wife, a nurse, etc. So I guess this blog is about me...trying to make some time for me. I'm so glad you've joined me.

Magnolia #20: Ribbons and Bows
I ordered the Fall Magnolia Stamp Club kit this year and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived last week already. So, I've used one on this week's submission. I colored her with Copics, and used some new October Afternoon patterned paper. Bazill CS; charm from "The Beadery"; ribbons from Michael's; button from Basic Grey; pearls from Kaiser; and the sentiment came with the Magnolia set. After I took the pics I realized the color of the red ribbon is a bit off...too late to fix it without scrapping the whole project...so I'm going to have to go with the flow this time...not always easy for me. (I did actually try to fix it...type A personality...thats me...) LOL.
Anyway, I used a sketch I saw on "All the things I love". It was so cute I wanted to try it. It was fun to use, and will definitely go into my "use again" binder.
Thanks for looking. Shirley.

Fantastic card Shirley - love the layout and your new Tilda is so cute!
I've just finished my first week back at school and feel exhausted - it'll take me a while to get into the swing of things again!
Hope your gang are doing well!
