I'd thought I'd share some photos of what we woke up to this morning. Breathtaking isn't it? The first thing the kids did was to check the school website (they were sure it should be a snow day!)...Then they packed up their snowboards for dad to take into town to be stripped and waxed. If this keeps up, the local ski club might have a decent snow base sooner than expected, and of course we have to be ready for that! Guess I should get my skis dusted off this year if I expect to spend any time with them.
I just love living in the country this time of year (well, any time of year to be truthful)...I'm so glad we live in a place where the seasons change so drastically. Every season has something that is "my favorite time of year".
Well, I have to get moving...more laundry, and I have to take my camera in...the autofocus isn't working and my middle son has a hockey tournament and a volleyball tournament this weekend. Won't do not to get any pictures! Hope you are enjoying this new season as much as I am.

hi Shrley,
You're so lucky to live in such a beautiful setting -a real winter wonderland! We rarely get snow in Ireland-in fact my youngest son has never seen snow!
Your photos are really lovely-you guys are so lucky to have skiing and snowboarding at your backdooor!
Hope you find a little crafting oasis in the busy weekend!
